I feel we have an outstanding and world class school district. Our board of education, teachers, staff, and administration are all working together to continue our strong tradition in academics and meeting the needs of all our students. We are also blessed to be in a caring community. Everyone is interested in our success and helping us reach all our goals. Parents, community leaders, and the citizens of Canton have committed time, resources, and their ideas to make us a great district.

 

We have our challenges. A dysfuntional state government, cuts in spending, substance abuse in the community, and increased poverty in our area can all cause friction as we attempt to improve our district. Yet, we do not use these as excuses. We have all the resources, money, and ability to be the best school district in the state.That is our goal.
