SEVENTH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES
The earth is a big place with the population at nearly 6 billion people and growing. People live in different regions and have many different cultures. In seventh grade social studies students learn about the similarities and differences of our modern day world with emphasis on geography, cultures and lifestyles that form a tapestry that is life on earth. From the Amazon rain forest, to the waters of Hong Kong harbor, to the call to worship in Mecca, the students will explore our modern world.
