The Ingersoll Middle School Chess club is open to all 5th-8th grade students. Any students interested in participating in chess club should contact Mr. Smith or listen to the Ingersoll announcements for specific information related to the formation of the club and its regular meetings.

At Chess Club students get together to play chess by dividing into four groups: New, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. As the students gain experience playing chess, they can advance to the next level.
