Ingersoll Middle School is proud to announce Breanna Freitag as the September recipient of the Steven R. Nagel Distinguished Student of the Month Award.
Breanna, an eighth grader, was nominated for this award for the positive characteristics she has displayed while at Ingersoll. Breanna's teachers said, "Breanna has demonstrated her great leadership qualities not just in the classroom, but also at school and in the community." At Ingersoll, Breanna is involved in band, chorus, cheerleading and Student Council, where she is a member of the Council's executive board and serves as the Citizenship chairperson. This year, Breanna was elected to serve as the Midwest District Representative for the Illinois Association of Junior High Student Councils. When not in school, Breanna is involved in her church and with dance at the Dance Connection.
