Ingersoll Middle School is proud to announce Abby Tonkin as the May recipient of the Steven R. Nagel Distinguished Student of the Month Award. Abby, an eighth grader, was nominated for this award for the positive characteristics she has displayed while at Ingersoll. Abby's team of teachers said, "Abby is a very responsible young lady who always goes the extra mile to do well on her assignments, tests, and quizzes. Her class participation is excellent, and she sets a positive example for other students in many areas." At Ingersoll, Abby is an honor roll student who participates in band, softball and track. Abby is also involved in dance at the Dance Connection.
