Ingersoll Middle School is proud to announce Ying Wang as the March recipient of the Steven R. Nagel Distinguished Student of the Month Award. Ying, an eighth grader, was nominated for this award for the positive characteristics he has displayed while at Ingersoll. One Ingersoll team of teachers said, “Ying is a thoughtful and hardworking young man who faithfully turns in well-done work. He interacts positively with other students and always shows kindness and compassion to those around him.” At Ingersoll, Ying is an honor roll student who has been involved in Band and Chorus, where he was selected to participate in the District Choir. When not in school, Ying helps out at his parents’ restaurant, the China Inn.
