Lincoln School is located in Canton, Illinois, on North Main Street (Rt. 78). It houses grades K- 4
plus four Special Education classes. Our student population stays around 240. Our school has a very active parent group called Lincoln School Supporters. Many computers programs, a pavillion, a butterfly garden, a beautiful bird aviary, new playground equipment and lots of classroom supplies have been provided by the LSS.
We are part of a school district with two other elementary schools, Eastview and Westview, Ingersoll Middle School and Canton High School. Canton Union School District 366has 369 district employees; 212 certified and 157 non certified staff.
Lincoln is the smallest and oldest school in the district, but we don't let our size and age get in the way of our technology. Each classroom will be equipped with a computer for each student. Second, Third, and fourth graders will have Chromebooks; Kindergarden and first graders will have iPads. Our computers are wireless networked and have internet access.
