LIBRARY POLICY:
To encourage responsibility and time management, and to promote student accountability during 2016-17 school year, students that have late books or fines will lose their library privileges’ until their accounts have been cleared.
Fines are $.05 every day a book is late. The fine will continue to accrue until the item is returned or a replacement fee is paid.
Students have access to classroom, home, and public libraries to meet their AR needs. If specific materials are needed for a classroom project, special arrangements can be made to ensure students are able to meet their educational goals.
The mission of the Ingersoll Middle School Library is to fulfill the information needs of our students and staff by providing resources to support the curriculum and offer enrichment, by assisting students in becoming effective and discriminating users of information, and by promoting the concept of lifelong learning.
